Senior recital for two Suzuki School musicians

Recent Minnesota Valley Lutheran graduate Josh Carlovsky (left) and recent Cathedral High School graduate Brennan Glawe (right) will give a senior recital at Martin Luther College, Sunday June 1. Carlovsky and Glawe are both members of the New Ulm Suzuki School of Music.
NEW ULM – The New Ulm Suzuki School of Music will present a special senior recital featuring two of its graduates, violinist Josh Carlovsky and violist Brennan Glawe.
The recital will take place at 2 p.m. Sunday, June 1 at Martin Luther College’s Chapel of Christ. This event is free and open to the public.
Under the tutelage of Paula Anderson, founder and principal instructor at the New Ulm Suzuki School of Music, Carlovsky, a senior graduate at Minnesota Valley Lutheran, and Glawe, a senior graduate at New Ulm Cathedral, will showcase their dedication and artistry as they perform a repertoire of classical and modern compositions. Audiences will be treated to pieces such as Arcangelo Corelli’s “Allegro”, Veracini’s “Sonata in E Minor”, and “Cinema Paradiso”, a contemporary work by Ennio Morricone.
This recital celebrates not only the accomplishments of these talented musicians but also the transformative power of music in shaping young artists. Attendees can expect a recital filled with grace and the resonant beauty of strings in the inspirational setting of the Chapel of Christ.
