NU Area Foundation to award $47,179 in grants
NEW ULM – New Ulm Area Foundation (NUAF) announced $47,179 worth of grants for the 2025 spring cycle.
The following grants were made possible from the Dr. James & Jane Seifert Fund:
· $2,500 to State Street Theater for Summer Drama Camps.
· $4,235 to New Ulm Area Catholic Schools for Fine Arts Program Needs.
Through the Bill Macklin Fund, NUAF is awarding $1,444 to New Ulm High School Fine Arts Boosters for Theater Tech Supplies Updates.
Through the Nuvera Fund $4,000 to Lind House Association for Public Awareness Presentation and Equipment.
Through the Henry & Anne Somsen Fund $7,000 will go to NUMAS Haus to support building renewal.
Through the NUAF general granting fund $8,000 will go to New Ulm Turnverein for hot water tank replacement
An unrestricted donation from Roger & Carol Ryberg of $20,000 will go to Wanda Gag House Association to support exterior repairs, refurbishment and painting.
