ISD 88 Foundation grant recipients

The ISD 88 Foundation is proud to announce the 2024 Eagles Extravaganza Grant Recipients. The Foundation was able to award three grants for a total of almost $20,000

A grant for $4,955 was given to Angela Hoek for STEAM Bee-Bots coding and Washington Learning. This grant will provide Kindergarten students with an interactive introduction to the basic programming principles of coding.

A $7,739 grant was awarded to Hedi Wilker with Inchy’s Bookworm Vending Machine and Jefferson Elementary for $7,739.00. This grant will provide Jefferson students the opportunity to earn Inchy Book tokens that can be used to purchase their very own book from the book vending machine.

A grant for $6,979.80 was given to Vickie Tamborino of Shake, Rattle, and Roll Your Way to Coding to Vickie Tamborino and New Ulm Middle School. This grant will provide New Ulm Middle School students with coding robots (Ozobots, Ollies, and Spheros) to continue their programming and coding education at the middle school level.
