New Ulm High School Knowledge Bowl Place 1st and 2nd at State
The New Ulm High School Knowledge Bowl teams made school history by taking their first-ever 1st and 2nd Place finish at the State AA Knowlege Bowl competition but also made some tournament history by being the first school in history to take first and second place in the same year.
The tournament was held at Cragun’s Resort in Brainard on April 11th and 12th. New Ulm Purple took 1st place honors with a score of 121.5. New Ulm Ivory finished second with a score of 110 points. Other medalists were Melrose taking third at 106, Park Christian taking 4th, and Kasson-Manorville finishing 5th.
