•New Ulm Park & Recreation is searching for skilled employees to mow, trim, drag/line ballfields, paint, and clean New Ulm parks. In addition, Park & Rec. needs coordinators and aides to assist with programs, fun youth activities and monitors to oversee our wading pools. Applications are available online at newulmmn.gov today. 

•Additional open pickleball was added Wednesday evenings from 6-8:45 p.m. Regular hours for pickleball are Friday evenings 6-8:45, Saturdays 10:30 a.m.-12 p.m., Sundays 9 -12 p.m. and Monday through Friday 9:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. Outdoor courts are now open at Lincoln Park. Paddles are available to rent at the welcome desk for $2 and include a ball. People playing pickleball outside of these hours are welcome to pull the net out and play on an open court.

•Open Tennis is offered on Saturday mornings from 8 to 10 a.m. The curtain will be closed and will not affect the walking track. 

•Last Rock on Ice for the season is 7 to 9 p.m. Friday, March 1. Admission $5.50. Skate rentals are available for $3. Family/Friends open skate from 4 to 6 p.m., Friday, March 8 . at the Civic Center. The Farm Show going on this same weekend.

•The New Ulm Civic Center will hold a Red Cross Blood Drive from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 13. Appointment can be scheduled online at https://www.redcrossblood.org/give.html/login or by calling 800-733-2767 

•Punch cards and memberships are available for a discounted rate. Skate rentals are $3.

Tot Swim is offered on Wednesdays in the shallow pool from 9-10:30 a.m. Admission is $3.

Tot Gym is offered on Mondays and Fridays from 9-10:30 a.m. Toys provided. Admission is $3 and includes admission to the playground.

•Spring Garage Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, April 6. Purchase spots at the Rec Center during building hours. A spot includes three 8-foot tables.

Summer Program Brochure will be released March 29 with registration opening April 10. All registration is done online at newulmmn.gov or in person at the Rec. Center.
