MANKATO — The Region 9 Knowledge Bowl AA Finals were held at the Fitzgerald Campus in Mankato on February 27th.

MVL had 5 teams participating in the AA competition with 4 teams finishing in the top 10. MVL Black won the meet by 10 points over 2nd place Central Neon Beige. Both 1st and 2nd place teams earned an entry to the state competition held at Cragun’s Resort in Brainerd on April 11-12. Region 9 will also have an A and AAA meet in the coming weeks with 2 more teams qualifying for state from each of those meets.
