Cathedral 150th Celebration Mass Oct. 20

NEW ULM — Cathedral of the Holy Trinity Parish is celebrating 150 Years of “Knowing, Loving and Serving God” this year. Bishop John M. LeVoir will celebrate the 10 a.m. Mass on Sunday, Oct. 20 in honor of this special occasion.

Following Mass a banquet and program will take place in Leifeld Hall. Banquet tickets are $15 and include a meal with dessert, a gift bag containing a souvenir booklet and bookmark, a can of “Berghold’s Brau” and a bottle of “Berghold’s Buddy” soda. The Berghold beverages are actually Schell’s Fire Brick and Buddy’s Orange Soda with special limited edition commemorative labels.

Souvenir T-shirts may also be purchased for $10. Tickets and T-shirts may be purchased in the Cathedral Parish Office or following weekend Masses on Sunday, Oct. 13. The deadline to purchase banquet tickets is Sunday, Oct. 13.

Pumpkin Exchange supports Food Shelf

NEW ULM — Century 21/Red Shoe Realty is holding a pumpkin exchange to help support the New Ulm Food Shelf.

In exchange for bringing a non-perishable food item or cash donation, Red Shoe Realty will give you a pumpkin.

All items donated will benefit the New Ulm Area Food Shelf

The event is being held Saturday, Oct. 12, 9:30-11 a.m.at the Century 21 office at 106 South Broadway, New Ulm. Use the back parking lot. The event will be held rain or shine, while supplies last.
