New Ulm Police

• A 52-year-old Linderhoff Apartments female resident reported a shattered apartment window at 7:40 p.m. Sunday. The woman said she saw a young boy carrying a stick nearby earlier. A report went to investigators.

• A 40-year-old St. Peter man reported an Order For Protection violation on a 36-year-old St. James man at 1:23 p.m. Sunday for driving in a prohibited area, near 6th North and State Street. A report was done for documentation.

• A 28-year-old New Ulm woman reported at 10:44 a.m. Sunday that a driver’s side mirror on a vehicle was broken. Damage was estimated at $200. A report was done for documentation.

• A 52-year-old New Ulm man was stopped for poor driving conduct at 9:27 p.m. Saturday. A request for a driver evaluation was sent to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. Nobody was hurt. No damage reported.

• Police located a 16-year-old Courtland girl at 9:17 p.m. Saturday after learning she was missing. The girl was transported to the Brown County Law Enforcement Center before she was transported to Nicollet County by the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Dept. Reports went to the Nicollet County Sheriff’s Office and Nicollet County Corrections.

• Received a report of Harman Park shelter rest room windows open at 8:32 p.m. Saturday. A surveillance video was sent to the New Ulm Park & Recreation Dept. to determine if the windows were damaged.

• Received a report at 3:26 p.m. Saturday of two pit bulls fighting. A 29-year-old New Ulm man who owned one of the dogs was advised to have the dog quarantined due to lack of current vaccination records. A report went to New Ulm Police Dept. Animal Control.

• Arrested a 51-year-old homeless man at 12:32 p.m. Saturday. The man was issued an extreme high risk detention order by New Ulm Police.

• Arrested a 20-year-old Annandale man for DWI at 1:07 a.m. near Broadway and 20th St. North for driving without headlights on. Impairment signs were noticed. The man was transported to the Brown County Jail. He was released after he passed an alcohol test at the jail. A report was done for documentation.
