New Ulm Police
• Responded to a barking dog complaint Monday. Officers were unable to contact the property owner, a 45-year-old New Ulm. He was cited for a dog disturbing the peace.
• A 45-year-old New Ulm man told police Monday that his son’s bicycle, a black Trek with red water bottle holder, and an iPhone 14 mounted on the bike were stolen near Karl Dr. and Garden St. North. Total value of the items was $1,300 to $1,400. A report was done for documentation.
• A 42-year-old Sleepy Eye woman told police Monday she noticed her back windshield was smashed after work. At 1700 Minnesota St. North. Nothing was missing in the vehicle. Damage was estimated at $500. A report was done for documentation.
• A 22-year-old New Ulm woman told police she thought she was contacted on social media by a 23-year-old New Ulm woman whom she has an harassment restraining order against. Police learned the HRO (harassment restraining order) expired Aug. 11, 2025.
• A 39-year-old New Ulm woman told police she was contacted by a 41-year-old Elmwood, Wi man whom she has a restraining order against. The report is under investigation.
