BROWNTON — A 60-year-old Waconia man died in a crash on Highway 212 near Brownton Sunday morning, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Wade Kenneth Halvorson was driving a 2018 Honda Civic westbound on Highway 212 when he collided with an eastbound 2014 Peterbilt semi tractor driven by Herod Alan Jakel, 39, Sacred Heart.

Jackel and two passengers were not injured. A five-year-old semi passenger received non-life threatening injuries and was transported to Hutchinson Allied Health Hospital. The McLeod County Sheriff’s Office, Brownton Fire Dpet. And Allina Ambulance assisted.
