OLIVIA — Unconditional bail was set at $1 million Monday in Renville County Court for a 62-year-old rural Sacred Heart man accused of molesting children in a Renville daycare.

Darrel Kerwin Hanson faces 10 counts of first-degree criminal sexual conduct. Bail with conditions was set at $500,000 Monday. He is accused of inappropriately touching three victims under the age of 14.

Hanson was arrested after a nine-year-old victim told police about the touching Aug. 15. He was listed in Renville County Jail custody Monday. A settlement conference is scheduled for 9 a.m. Nov. 12.
