New Ulm Police

• Cited a 39-year-old New Ulm man for open marijuana package in a motor vehicle at 6th St. North and Minnesota at 9:34 p.m. Wednesday. The man was warned for driving without an operating headlight.

Minnesota State Patrol

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash with non-life threatening injuries at 2:24 p.m. Wednesday on Mn 7 and Cable Ave., Winsted Township, McLeod County. A 2020 Ford F-150 driven by Marlin Woodrow Hecksel, Watertown, was eastbound on MN 7 when it collided with a 2010 Honda CRV driven by Arvery Melvin Hackbarth, 34, Stewart, that turned northbound on Cable Ave. Hackbarth was transported to a Glencoe hospital. Hecksel was transported to a Waconia hospital. Both drivers wore seat belts. Alcohol was not involved. Assisting were Jerry’s Transmission, Glencoe and Waconia ambulances.
