GREEN ISLE — A 73-year-old Green Isle woman died after she was hit by a truck while crossing State Highway 5 in Green Isle at 7:20 a.m. Wednesday.

Mary Ann Ott was crossing the highway from west to east when she collided with a 2016 Peterbilt 367 straight truck driven by Blaine Jeffrey Feil, 35, Gaylord, was turning eastbound onto Highway 5 from Highway 25.

Feil wore a seat belt and was not injured. Alcohol was not involved.

The Sibley County Sheriff’s Office and Green Isle Fire Department assisted.
