Truck community shows support for Cashton

The Brown County Fairgrounds were filled with over 200 trucks this weekend and bounce house, as part of an event hosted by Rollin Out Creations, called Trucks 4 Cashton
NEW ULM – Cashton Pressley is definitely surrounded with a lot of love and support from his friends and family and the community.
Hundreds of trucks rolled in to the Brown County Fairgrounds Saturday for the event, Trucks 4 Cashton, hosted by ROC, Rollin on Creations, a truck group created by Cashton’s dad, Ethan Pressley.
The event had several activities for kids including a bounce house and Jersey Sweets ice cream truck. Cashton and his family were there, basking in the shade with fans and even a portable AC unit to keep Cashton cool during the heat of the afternoon.
His big sister, Nora Alonzo, gently held Cashton’s hand while he had his face painted with Harry Potter glasses and a little thunderbolt scar by makeup artist Nikole Benson. Cashton’s mother, Avia Pressley watched as Cashton squirmed a bit at the paint and then settled into a smile. Everyone couldn’t believe how cute and tough Cashton was.
“He beat cancer! He’s doing everything the doctors said he wouldn’t be able to do; he’s using his vocal cords. He’s moving, as in kicking his feet and arms. He can see out of one eye, the right eye, and he can hear 80% out of his right ear with hearing aids. He just recently got hearing aids! He’s finally growing a tooth in!! So, he’s putting his finger in his mouth now,” said Avia Pressley.

“The event definitely went a lot better than we expected. We had over 200 trucks there supporting Cashton; it was so amazing to see the love and support my son has in the truck community a lot of the trucks came from Wisconsin and out of town! It was amazing experience,” said Avia Pressley.
Anyone can join ROC. Their only rules are respect and accountability. They can be found online @Rollin_On_Creations. And Cashton has a GoFundMe for anyone who might have missed the event but still wanted to donate to the Pressley family.
“We are also grateful for the people that donated their time to help us run the event. Especially the vendors that came out and donated their time to help us!! That was so amazing of them to help us out!! They will always have a place in our heart and everyone who came out to support will always be a part of Cashton’s story,” said Avia Pressley.
