MnDOT begins sealcoating highways July 21
MANKATO — Motorists are advised to expect delays on highways 14, 15, 30, 60, 99, and 169 in south central Minnesota beginning Monday, July 21.
The Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) said traffic will be controlled with flaggers and a pilot car.
Sealcoating will take about a week. Crews will return a couple weeks later to paint temporary striping which will be done under light traffic.
Projects are expected to be done by late August, pending on weather and material availability. Crews will return next summer to apply permanent pavement markings.
Impacted highways are Highway 14 from Highway 71 north of Sanborn to Springfield; Highway 15 Madelia to 170th Street north of Hanska; Highway 30 Westbrook to Highway 71 east of Jeffers; Highway 60 Highway 14 south of Madison Lake to Highway 13 in Waterville and eastbound from Highway 15 near Madelia to Lake Crystal; Highway 99 Nicollet to St. Peter; and Highway 169 Blue Earth to Elmore.
