Band members include Aiden Murphy and Wesley Meyer from Winnebago; Jessica, Travis, and Lora Moore from Blue Earth; and Lizzy Munsch from Fairmont. It was the group’s debut in New Ulm.

Band members were excited to play in New Ulm for the first time and appreciated the venue space.

The concert kicked off earlier than usual due to concerns about rain and wrapped up early for the same reason, with uncertainty throughout the day over whether the show would proceed.

Still, many locals came out to enjoy the music.

Cynthia Wurtzburger of New Ulm said, “I’ve never heard this band before. It’s something to do, this is my first Music in the Park concert.”

Travis Vogel from New Ulm, a weekly attendee, added, “I come every week for Music in the Park.”

Laurie Groebner, also from New Ulm, said, “We’ve been coming since last year. It’s something to do on Thursday nights.”

Margo Bode of Courtland noted, “It’s good entertainment and great for the community. Thanks to KNUJ and Parks and Rec for putting this on.”

Rain or shine, the show carried on, giving the crowd a taste of new talent and keeping the spirit of summer music alive in New Ulm.
