Paving the way for slope stabilization

County Road 21 remains closed to through traffic east of CR 13 to Highway 14/15.

Last fall, 30,000 tons of rip rap was installed on the road east of CR 13. Storm sewer, curb and gutter, aggregate base, bituminous paving and guardrail is being installed this year. County Road 21 remains closed to through traffic east of CR 13 to Highway 14/15. Nicollet County Public Works Director Seth Greenwood said project signage, guardrail, seeding and erosion control work is being done in the coming days. He said the road may be opened to traffic as soon as next week if rainfall doesn’t delay finishing work.
