New Ulm Fire Chief Paul Macho said the fire call came in at 12:24 p.m. Firefighters used three fire engines, a grassrig and tanker on the fire that burned about five acres of grass. No injuries, building or gravestone damage were reported. The fire started while ground was being thawed for a burial. Firefighters spent about 90 minutes at the cemetery.
