Painted Pumpkin Contest draws interest; voting open through Oct. 24

NEW ULM — More than 50 children participated in the Great Painted Pumpkin Contest at Vogel Fieldhouse Sunday.

Children picked out pumpkins and decorated them at special decorating stations. Most children took their pumpkins home except for three that were chosen for the Great Painted Pumpkin Contest.

In-person and Facebook online voting for the best decorated pumpkins continues through Thursday, Oct. 24. vote for your favorite pumpkin by liking the photo. All reactions count as a vote. The winner will be announced Oct. 25.
