New Ulm Police

• Responded to a two-vehicle crash at 4:25 p.m. Tuesday at 13th South Street and Washington. A 1994 Yamaha XJ600 driven by Austin Robert Egge, 25, New Ulm, westbound on 13th South Street, approaching Washington Street when it collided with a 2022 Ford truck driven by Jeremy Jacob Frederickson, 45, North Mankato, who was southbound on Washington Street. Damage was moderate but functional to the Yamaha and minor to the Ford. Egge had minor injuries. Frederickson wore a seat belt.

• Received a report of mailbox theft sometimes between Saturday morning and Monday morning on the 1400 block, Valley St. Street South at 11:08 a.m. Thursday. Some mail items were found in a weeded area. A report was done for documentation.

• Received a report of $115 in cash taken Tuesday from a locker at Vogel Recreation Center, 122 Garden Street South. Police are investigating the report.

Sibley County Sheriff’s Office

• Received a report of a vehicle off the road and in a drainage ditch off TH 25, near 311th Avenue, about 6 miles east of Green Isle at 5:21 a.m. Thursday. Shawn Lindquist, 51, Green Isle, was driving a 2016 Ford F150 pickup eastbound on TH 25 when he drifted into the eastbound shoulder, maneuvered to correct course, spun out, crossed the westbound lane of TH 25 and come to a rest in a drainage ditch. Lindquist reported no injuries. Ridgeview Ambulance responded.
