MANKATO — A 64-year-old Mankato man died in a two-vehicle crash on TH 60, Judson Township, Blue Earth County reported at 4:22 a.m. Sunday.

Timothy Lee Volk, 64, Mankato, was driving a 2016 Dodge Caravan eastbound on Highway 60 when he suffered fatal injuries after colliding with an eastbound 2017 Freightliner tractor driven by Douglas Troy Perez, 51, Coon Rapids. Volk did not wear a seat belt, according to the Minnesota State Patrol. It was unknown if alcohol was involved. Perez wore a seat belt and was not injured. The Blue Earth County Sheriff’s Office and Mankato Police assisted.
