NEW ULM – St. Paul’s Preschool classes are performing their spring program all this week.
Wednesday morning, ten preschoolers entertained their parents by singing and acting out several classics including “God Bless America,” “Hey Diddle, Diddle,” “Humpty Dumpty” and the “The Itsy Bitsy Spider.”
The program concluded with the student reciting the children’s book “The Carrot Seed” by Ruth Kraus. As many of the students are not yet reading age, they reciting the book from memory.
St. Paul’s Preschool Director Heidi Meyer said this year’s program made greater use of props. Several of the students were called upon to act out scenes from nursery rhymes. The student were successful at hitting their cues.
