NEW ULM — The League of Women Voters New Ulm is observing National Voter Registration Day on Tuesday, September 19th at New Ulm High School.

The event is designated to encourage voter registration and participation in our democracy. Representatives of the League will be at the NUHS cafeteria from 10:55 to 11:55 a.m. with voter registration information and forms so that high school students can learn about voter registration.

Students 18 years old may register to vote and students aged 16 or 17 may pre-register, with voter registration activated on their 18th birthday. This is being done in cooperation with the student council.
