The Concord Singers receive special recognition from Sister Cities Commission

The Concord Singers led the Schell’s Tap room in a speical “prost” in honor of receiving an award from The Sisters Cities Commission.

NEW ULM — The Concord Singers were given a special award by New Ulm’s Sister Cities Commission during a special ceremony at August Schell Brewery.

The award recognized The Concord Singers as ambassadors of good will in their continued support of the Sisters Cities program.

Gary Klimmek, Vice-president of The Concord Singers, accepted the award from Sister Cities Chairman Keith Rollhoff.

Klimmek said The Concord Singers were grateful to receive the award. He said it was the groups goal to make people come together and feel welcome.

The goals of Sister Cities and The Concord Singers are aligned with both groups working to build bridges with other communities.

After receiving the award, The Concord Singers led the Schell’s Tap Room in a cheer.
