Lions Donate to Oak Hills

The Lions Club of New Ulm recently donated $1,000 to Oak Hills Living Center's Tubs and Scrubs Appeal. This money will be used to replace aging bath tubs at the long-term care facility. So far, $42,060 has been raised with a total of $75,000 needed. Additional donations are welcome. This money was raised at the New Ulm Lions Dad's Belgian Waffle Brunch last February. Thank you to all who attended, making this donation possible. Pictured, left to right, are Lions Bob Schirlinger, John Micheel and Gayle O'Connor, Dad's Waffle Brunch Chair, presenting the check to Carmen Broste, Director of Nursing; Wendy Broderson, Foundation Director and Candas Schouvieller, Administrator.
