LAFAYETTE — After an absence of five years, the Vettern College of Music in Jonkoping, Sweden is returning to Bernadotte to present its seventh concert since 2007. The 42-member choir will sing at Bernadotte Lutheran Church, 341422 515th Ave., rural Lafayette, at 6 p.m., Tuesday, April 18. The program will consist of choral music from different times and traditions.

The Vettern choir performed at Bernadotte five times in the past–2007, 2010, 2012, 2014, 2016, and 2018. It was scheduled to perform at Bernadotte in April 2020, but those plans were derailed by COVID.

The public is invited to the concert. A free will offering to help the choir defray its expenses will be accepted.
