Visual reminder of Easter Season at St. John’s

St. John’s Lutheran Church in New Ulm has some new “visitors” in the arches leading to their main entrance. Roman soldiers stand guard outside the tomb while women wait for a chance to embalm the body of Jesus as soon as the Sabbath is over. St. John’s has a visual display of the sealed tomb of Jesus for all to see. Drive down Washington Street (Washington and 7th South) to see the sealed tomb. But come back again on Easter Day (or the days following) to see a new scene: [Spoiler alert!] The tomb will be open to reveal that it’s empty! Christ is risen! Come see the visual reminder at St. John’s this Lent and Easter season.
