The Willkommen Committee of the New Ulm Area Chamber of Commerce recently welcomed Otto Cabeza, the new Operations Director for Firmenich. Otto, a native of Columbia, spent 17 years working as a supervisor for several companies across Central and Latin America, before moving to New Ulm, where he accepted the operations director position for Firmenich in May of last year. Firmenich is a chemical company that produces “flavors”, which are then sent to other companies like, General Mills, Starbucks, and Nestle, for use in their recipes. Firmenich employs over 120 personnel here in New Ulm, and has 83 locations around the world. Firmenich is located at 100 N. Valley Street, in New Ulm.
