Bus service available in several local cities

Heartland Express buses operate in New Ulm Monday through Friday from 6:15 a.m. until 5:45 p.m.

Buses also operate in Sleepy Eye, Springfield and Comfrey Monday through Friday from 8 a.m.-5 p.m.

Please call the Brown County Heartland Express dispatch office, Monday through Friday between the hours of 8am-3pm at 507-359-2717 to schedule a ride. Requests need to be made at least one business day in advance.

Riders can save by buying a package of tokens. Packages of 10 white tokens are $13 ($15 value) and are available at most area banks and grocery stores throughout the county and at the Heartland Express Office.

Packages of 10 blue tokens are $6.50 ($7.50 value) and are available only at the Senior Dining Office at the CAST Senior Center and the Heartland Express Office.

Tokens are available in New Ulm at Frandsen Bank, Alliance Bank, Citizens Bank, Hy-Vee, Cash Wise and Bank Midwest; in Sleepy Eye at Schutz Family Foods and Randy’s Family Drug; in Springfield at Springfield Market and Red Rock Bank; in Comfrey at Choice Financial Savings; and in Hanska at Alliance Bank.
