Located at 206 N. Minnesota Street, the store opened July 1 and will hold a special grand opening celebration Friday, July 8-10.

The store is run by Kami Catherman and Steven Andrews. They described the store as a metaphysical store that provides items for a variety of spiritual beliefs including Buddhist, Pagan, Wiccan and New Age.

Mystical Dreamz is a store that promotes spiritual growth and healing, but Andrews said they also want to be a community resource. The store sells essential oils, stones, runes, tarot cards and other items connected to metaphysical teachings, but the owners also want to educate the public on how to use items properly. The shop includes books on different traditions for those looking to explore different spiritual beliefs.

Mystical Dreamz plans to host weekly classes to teach people how to use items, such as a essential oils, runes and tarot cards. The plan is to begin scheduling classes by the end of July. Class schedules will be listed on Mystical Dreamz Facebook page.

Mystical Dreamz is a unique addition to New Ulm’s downtown business.

Catherman and Andrews said while setting up the shop several people stopped in and thanked them for bringing this type of store to New Ulm. There are several local customers looking to expand their spiritual knowledge.

The store is open from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday.
