NEW ULM — Join the New Ulm Bicycle Group on the George Glotzbach Memorial Bicycle Ride on New Ulm’s Bike Circle Route. The ride will be held Saturday, Oct. 2, starting at 9 a.m. Meet in the lower parking lot of German Park, located at 200 North German St., New Ulm.

Bring your friends and join New Ulm Mayor Terry Sveine and the New Ulm Bicycle Group on a bicycle ride around New Ulm on the Bike Circle Route. The ride is free and 11 miles in length; you can ride the whole route or just part of it. Bring your own bike, water, and please wear a bicycle helmet.

This bicycle ride is to celebrate the renewal of the City of New Ulm’s Bicycle Friendly Designation Bronze Level by the League of American Bicyclists and to honor and remember George Glotzbach, a New Ulm Bicycle Group member who was an advocate for a bicycle friendly New Ulm.
