Lang’s pieces featured a variety of mediums, but the subjects of all her work were music and musicians. She said her favorite pieces on display in the show were her color pencil portraits of famous musicians.

Matter described his work as what happens inside the mind rather than what we see in the external world. Several of his drawings are self-portraits with a dream-like twist.

His favorite piece is called called “Queen of Fluff and Stuff” and features a jackrabbit. He said around the time he began work on the drawing he encounters a large jackrabbit and it was an influence.

“Intentionally Accidental” will remain on display to the public at the Grand through Saturday, April 3.
