ECFE offering Early Childhood Screening
NEW ULM — Early Childhood Screening in District 88 is scheduled for Wednesday, March 10, Thursday, March 11 and Wednesday, March 17, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. by appointment only.
This will be the last time ECFE (Early Childhood and Family Education) offers Early Childhood Screening this school year. Screening is available to any child who is between the ages of 3 years and Kindergarten.
During screening children will participate in an evaluation of speech, language, fine and gross motor skills, behavioral, social and emotional development, hearing and vision, height and weight measurement, immunization record, and a parental question and answer period will be included.
Screening is free of charge and is required for entrance into Eagle’s Preschool, Headstart, and Kindergarten.
Early Childhood Screening will be held at the Washington Learning Center, 910 14th Street North. Appointments will be 60 minutes long. ECFE is unable to accommodate walk-ins. To make an appointment contact the ECFE Office at 507.233.8311.
