Nuvera declares first-quarter dividend

NEW ULM — The Board of Directors of Nuvera Communications, Inc., approved a 1st quarter dividend payment of $.13 per share. The recently declared dividend will be paid to shareholders of record at the close of business on March 5, and will be payable on March 15.

“In an effort to increase shareholder value, Nuvera is accelerating fiber-to-the-subscriber deployments and network investments starting in 2021,” said Nuvera President and CEO Glenn Zerbe. “Nuvera has fiber-to-home overbuild projects planned for multiple areas in New Ulm, as well as additional residential and business overbuilds in other communities. Our successful application for five MN DEED grants creates a public-private partnership to bring fiber to more unserved and underserved rural areas this year, including portions of Nicollet County outside of New Ulm. Thanks to 5G spectrum licenses obtained in 12 counties last year, Nuvera is also set to build multiple towers to take advantage of fixed wireless offerings, including a site near Hanska, Lafayette and in Nicollet County outside of New Ulm.”
