Leave a Legacy grant

The New Ulm Area Foundation awarded a $1,400 grant to Leave a Legacy New Ulm to be used toward providing future community programming and education. Leave a Legacy was formed in 2018 as a collaborative effort to educate the public and promote the idea of giving through bequests and estate plans, increasing awareness of and interest in charitable giving options. This effort consists of professional advisors, working with nonprofit organizations including social services and arts organizations, places of worship, health agencies, educational institutions and other philanthropic associations to expand networking opportunities, continue educational efforts and collectively promote donor charitable gifts for our community.
