Larson, Freeman win flat track races

NEW ULM — Chace Larson and Jack Freeman of New Ulm won Flying Dutchmen Motorcycle Club flat track races at the club grounds last weekend.

Larson won the 125cc overall title on Saturday and Sunday. Freeman won the 450 overall title Sunday.

Other area racers placing included Artie Dietz, Madelia, first in the 50cc DTC Chain Jr. Brody Stadick of New Ulm was third. Jace Sandman of Madelia was fourth in the 50cc DTX Chain Sr. and Brody Hoffman of Sleepy Eye was sixth Saturday.

Dietz also won the 50DTX Peewee Saturday. Sandman was fourth, Stadick sixth and Hoffman eighths. Jaxson Reinhart of Courtland was ninth.

Charlie Dietz of Madelia won the 65cc DTX and was third in the 85 DTX Saturday. Freeman was second in the 450 overall and fifth in the Open Amateur A 450 Saturday. Eric Dietz was third in the Senior 40+ Saturday. Chace Larson of New Ulm was fourth in the 250 and third in the Schoolboy overall Saturday. Philip Gulden of New Ulm was ninth and Adam Fischer of New Ulm was 11th Saturday. Randy Braulick of New Ulm was third in the Hooligan overall Saturday.

On Sunday, Artie Dietz of Madelia won the 50 DTX and DTX Peewee and Stadick was third. Sandman was second in the 50DTX chain and 50 DTX Peewee. Hoffman was fourth and Reinhart fifth in the DTX Peewee.

Charlie Dietz won the 65cc DTX Sunday. Erick Dietz was second in the Open B Amateur and Senior 40+. Chace Larson was sixth in the 250, Philip Gulden was tenth and Fischer 11th. Freeman was fifth in the Pro/Expert/AFT 450. Randy Braulick of New Ulm was third in the Hooligan overall.

Chace Larson was fourth in the Schoolboy overall, Jack Freeman seventh in the Open Amateur A 450.
