NEW ULM — Join State Street Theater for the original 1940s radio dramas of “Sherlock Holmes” with your favorite detective the infamous Sherlock Holmes and his assistant and sometimes flatmate Watson along with a cast full of intrigue.

The radio dramas will include “The Adventure of the Tolling Bell” and “Murder in the Casbah.” Auditions will take place on Monday, July 13 from 5-7 p.m. at State Street Theater Co., 1 North Minnesota Street, New Ulm, backstage entrance on Washington Street.

We have roles for both adult men and women. All interested are encouraged to audition for the radio drama. First-time actors are warmly encouraged and welcome. Auditions will be a cold read from the script. Rehearsals will take place from July to August.

A performance will be held Saturday, Aug. 8, 2020. For more information, please email statestreettheater@gmail.com, or call 507-359-9990.

The production is also made possible by the voters of Minnesota through a grant from the Prairie Lakes Regional Arts Council, thanks to a legislative appropriation from the Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
