Cancer Cruise in Arlington this Saturday, legal vehicles of all kinds invited

ARLINGTON — A Cancer Cruise will take place Saturday, May 30, in Arlington.

Due to COVID-19, this is a cruise only, not a car show.

Any street legal vehicle is welcome, including classics, hot rods, motorcycles, rat rods, daily drivers and semi tractors.

Vehicles line up at 1 p.m. in the Arlington Community Center parking lot. Volunteers will have safety vests on, along with bags to collect donations (suggested $10 donation per vehicle).

Please practice social distancing.

The cruise leaves Arlington at 2 p.m. It will travel through Gaylord, New Auburn, Green Isle and Henderson, and return to Arlington. The complete route is just over 60 miles. Go on as much, or as little of the cruise as you like.

Drivers, please be sure to follow all traffic laws on the cruise. None of the streets/roads will be controlled. Watch for traffic, and please drive safe.

If you need non-oxy fuel for your vehicle, Maverick Automotive in Arlington carries it. Wagar’s Grocery / Shell Gas in Henderson also carries non-oxy.

If you are looking for a meal, please patronize our local restaurants.
