Adopt a Senior is a Facebook site spearheaded by Rebecca Fliszar, Melanie Bushard and Andrea Helget to help provide this year’s graduating seniors in New Ulm with a little extra acknowledgement.

Parents are encouraged to post their senior’s photo on the page so others in the community can ‘adopt’ and surprise them with a small basket of goodies.

Pictured receiving their gifts are NUHS seniors Ethan Kopischke with Julie Klover and Lizzy Wilfarht with Linda Osborne. More than 55 seniors have been adopted. The site (New Ulm area Adopt a Senior) will be available until June 5.
