MANKATO — Because of the cancellation of the ProMusica Chamber Music Festival due to COVID, Bethel Balge, pianist, and Peter McGuire, violinist, will perform a virtual concert, which will air on Sunday, May 31, at 5 p.m. on NUCAT. It will also air live on ProMusica’s Facebook and YouTube page at 3pm on the 31st.

Balge and McGuire are Artistic Directors of the festival and have performed together frequently. In addition to being artistic directors of ProMusica, McGuire is Principal 2nd Violinist in the Minnesota Orchestra and Balge is Artistic Director of the Summit Avenue Music Series and Executive Director of the Mankato Symphony Orchestra. The program on May 31st includes works by Beethoven, Schumann, Sinding and Grieg.
