The Journal to publish during stay-at-home order

NEW ULM — The Journal will publish a paper during the state’s stay-at-home order.

Under Gov. Tim Walz’s order, which takes effect at 11:59 p.m. Friday, news media are considered essential businesses. Government at all levels recognizes the importance of the news media in keeping the public informed during this critical time.

During this time, many Journal employees will be working from home, and we ask that the public limit visits to The Journal office. Please use email or phone calls to contact The Journal whenever possible. Payments can be mailed to The Journal at PO Box 487, New Ulm, MN, 56073. News releases can be submitted to news@nujournal.com.
