Jean Anderson of New Ulm sewed colorful facemask to be used for prevention of spreading germs. They were accepted and recorded into the donated mask collection today by Jeff and Marcus, both employed by Allina. The collection point is the hospital auditorium.
Allina urged local people to sew masks that can be used by the medical system to help stop the spread of germs, and many have responded to the call.
Woodview Dental made a donation of gloves and masks at New Ulm Medical Center’s daily mask collection event. If you or your organization are interested in contributing, donations are accepted at the auditorium door at the back of the hospital off of 5th N. St. between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. daily through April 5. Pictured, left to right, Jeff Allerson and Marcus Hopp from NUMC, Kraig Schumm and Kayla Weinkauf from Woodview Dental.
