Schell’s Brewery intros Braised Restaurant Week

NEW ULM — August Schell Brewing Company is announcing the first inaugural Braised: Schell’s Restaurant Week.

Braised will take place in New Ulm, Mankato, St. Peter and surrounding areas from February 17 through the 22. Braised Restaurant Week has over 20 participating restaurants creating a new and unique menu item to serve alongside an exclusive Schell’s Beer. The beer that Brewmaster Jace Marti has created for this chilly February season is a rum-barrel aged dark lager, available only to those who order a restaurant week meal from one of the participating locations.

A few of the local restaurants participating include:

New Ulm: George’s Fine Steaks, Green Mill, Kaiserhoff, Lamplighter, Lola’s American Bistro, Mona Lena, New Ulm Country Club, Plaza Garibaldi, Rodney’s Tavern, Sozial, and Turner Hall.

Mankato: Dino’s Pizzeria, Loose Moose Saloon, Number 4, Pub 500, and Tav on the Ave. Saint Peter; 3rd Street Tavern and Patrick’s on 3rd.

St. Peter: 3rd Street Tavern and Patrick’s on 3rd.

Lafayette: Dave’s Place of Lafayette.

Searles: Searle’s Bar & Grill.

Nicollet: Rapid Rick’s Bar & Grill.

Braised will be a bi-annual event, designed by Schell’s Brewery to help increase consumer engagement with local restaurants throughout the Minnesota River Valley.
