MANKATO — Minneopa Area Naturalist Scott Kudelka will lead fun and informative snowshoe hikes at Fort Ridgely and Minneopa State Parks on Saturday, Jan. 25.

The Fort Ridgely hike starts at 10 a.m. Meet at the park chalet parking lot. The Minneopa hike begins at 1 p.m. Meet at the Ground Campground on the campground side of the park. Snowshoes can be rented by calling 507-386-3910 or by stopping at the office.

There is no charge for the event but vehicles are required to have a permit ($7 a day or $35 year-around), which can be purchased at the park.
