“Hold the Lutefisk” coming to State Street Theater

The Looney Lutherans will be bringing their show, “Hold the Lutefisk” to the State Street Theater on Dec. 15.

NEW ULM — The Looney Lutherans return to State Street Theater to perform their Christmas show “Hold the Lutefisk” on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 2 p.m. at State Street Theater Co., 1 North State Street, New Ulm.

The Looney Lutherans is a trio of warm, witty women who help the audience enjoy the spirit of the season. Segments include a Lutheran version of “Cowboy” wisdom, letters to Santa, and the unique game show “CHRISTMAS TREE AMAZING RACE STAR SEARCH,” where the Loonies test your Christmas spirit.

The Looney Lutherans are a trio of wacky gals who have been using music, comedy, and some help from the audience to share their age-old wisdom for living a long and lively life, the Lutheran way, since 2006. Now, with their fun-filled holiday show, they share tips for surviving the Holidays! Material is comedic and family-friendly, and you don’t have to be Lutheran to love it!

Advance tickets are $12.50 and can be purchased at the New Ulm Chamber of Commerce, New Ulm Hy-Vee, and online at statestreetNEWULM.org. Tickets will also be available on the day of the performance at the door for $15. Doors open 30 minutes before the performance and handicap seating is available.
