Sleepy Eye hosts welcoming project
SLEEPY EYE — A welcoming communities event will take place from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 5, at the Sleepy Eye Event Center.
New Ulm, Sleepy Eye and Springfield are partnering with the Greater Mankato Diversity Council and University of Minnesota Extension Service to facilitate the event that is part of a series of workshops.
Information from New Ulm Forward members will be sought to learn about the successes and challenges of creating a more inclusive community. All attendees will be asked to complete an assessment that will serve as a baseline for our community before the project begins.
A light lunch will be served.
