Frights return to New Ulm

NEW ULM — Something wicked has come to Minnesota Street. The fifth annual New Ulm Nightmares Haunted house opened Friday night.

This year’s haunted house is called “Full Moon Manor” located at 21 S. Minnesota Street. The haunted house opened at 7 p.m. and immediately had a crowd seeking a good scare.

“The feedback has been strong,” Haunt manager Elizabeth Anselmo said. “Lot of screaming.”

Several of the guests said they would return for another visit.

“I think it was their best one yet,” Emma Gauert said after exiting the Full Moon Manor.

New Ulm Nightmares’ Full Moon Manor is one of several Halloween-themed events coming to Brown County. For more information see The Journal’s Lifestyle on page 1C.
