ST. PETER — Nicollet County Commissioners unanimously approved an updated All-Hazard Mitigation Plan Aug. 13.

The plan has been shared with the Minnesota Division of Homeland Security and Emergency Management and FEMA for review and comment. Adoption of the plan would make the county and participating jurisdictions eligible to receive FEMA hazard mitigation grants. Action came on a motion by Commissioner Luepke, seconded by Commissioner Morrow.

Nicollet County Engineer Seth Greenwood provided a County Road 12 project update that included a spring 2020 start time for the project.
