SLEEPY EYE — The District 84 Board of Education meets at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, Aug. 14 in the school conference room to consider a number of personnel changes.

Hires include full-time kindergarten teacher Gwen Rossbach @ $54,743; ECSE (Early Childhood Special Education) long-term substitute teacher Shirley Tennant for 34 days @ $7,336.52 and ECSE testing coordinator @ $26.97 an hour; high school special education para Rachel Linder 6.75 hours @ $12.38/hr.; special education para Maria Christina Gonzalez, 7 hours/day @ $12.38; assistant varsity football coach Brody Anderson @ $3,147 and fall musical director Morgan Kokesch @ $1,833.

Resignations include paraprofessional Brandon Streich effective immediately and fall musical director Mary Mulry.

Other agenda items:

• Declaring a tennis ball machine, kitchen stove, meat slicer, mixer and miscellaneous small items as surplus.

• Open enrollments including two from Cedar Mountain, St. James and Buffalo Lake Hector Stewart and one from Springfield.
