The Glockenspiel in Schonlau Park received a face lift–two in fact. The north- and east-facing clocks were taken down and refurbished Wednesday. The mechanical movements in the clock were replaced, the fluorescent lights were upgraded to LED, and the clock hands were redone. The two clock faces were removed during the refurbishing process. The south and west faces of the glockenspiel were refurbished last year.
